Who am I

I am a skilled ceramic artist whose work reflects a lifelong dedication to the craft of pottery. My journey began during my school years, where an introduction to the art form ignited a passion that would accompany me throughout life. Although my professional career followed a path outside of the arts (Software development), I never strayed far from their creative roots. I continued to nurture my skills through evening classes and weekend workshops, steadily developing my artistry and technique.

A significant milestone in my growth as an artist was the opportunity to learn from some of the most celebrated potters in the United States, including Tom and Elaine Coleman. These experiences enriched my knowledge and inspired my distinctive, eclectic style.

I specialize in creating hand-thrown pottery that is both functional and purely artistic. My pieces stand out for their intricate details—whether incised, pierced, carved, or altered—each one a testament to my building technical expertise and creative vision. From elegant bowls and vases to highly incised works, my pottery balances utility with aesthetic appeal, making each piece captivating.

In addition to creating, I take pride in fostering a sense of community within the world of pottery, inspiring others to explore the beauty and versatility of the medium. My story is one of passion, perseverance, and a deep-seated love for the art of pottery.
